A Learning Object Authoring Template (also referred as LearningTools, Learning Object Template) is an easy to use, web based, cheap (often free of cost) application that empowers non-technical subject matter experts to create interactive, multimedia based learning objects through step-by-step procedures and guidelines. The template should allow multiple creators to generate multiple forms of learning objects. The subject matter experts may also use the template to modify and update the learning object themselves. The learning objects that are created using the template should follow the learning object standards such as Scorm compliance.
